Target - Adverse Reaction Database Integrated Search

New Database that contains pairwise associations between Adverse Drug Reactions and publicly available Targets

e.g. aspirin (type 2 or more characters)

e.g. headache (type 3 or more characters)

e.g. ABCA1 (type 2 or more characters)

You can search for information from curated databases (SIDER, OFFSIDES) or from self-reporting databases (FAERS, MEDEFFECT).

How to search the DATABASE

Data can be found searching by the drug name (common name), type of ADR (as defined in MedDRA dictionary, or the protein UNIPROT identification code or target.

Results are returned in a tabular from listing the principal descriptor for each entry such as the drug name, the target UniProt ID, the MedDRA classification for ADR, together with the results of the statistical validation (p-value of association and its correction for multiple testing, q-value). Moreover it will be possible to access external links to the native drug target or drug-ADR database, together with related repositories.

About T-ARDIS

T-ARDIS (Target - Adverse Reaction Database Integrated Search) database is a resource that provides comprehensive information on protein and associated ADR. By combining the information from drug-proteins and drug-ADR databases, we identify statistically significant associations between protein and ADR.

Drug - ADR information

Drug - ADRs associations were mined from FAERS, MEDEFFECT, SIDER and OFFSIDES.

Drug - proteins information

Drug-protein information were obtained from the Drug-Target Commons and STITCH databases.
